Bildpaar 49: Rani Ghat. Lokalität km W 9.100;

Bildpaar 50: Ehemalige Hängebrücke bei Rani Ghat.
Lokalität km W 9.500; Blickrichtung 185°; Basis ±25 cm.
Diese Hängebrücke mit ca. 20 m hohen Pfeilern wurde ca.
1985 von einem Sturm zerstört, wobei einige Menschen um-
kamen. Es ist zu vermuten, daß der Sturm die Brücke in
Schwingungen versezte und es zu einer Resonanzkatastrophe
kam. Es handelte sich um eine sehr moderne Brücke, wohl
einmalig für die Gegend. Alle Teile dafür wurden zu Fuß
über den steilen, engen Weg (z.B. Bildpaar 38) von Tansen
nach Rani Ghat geschafft.

Bildpaar 52: Rani Ghat Palast 2. Lokalität km W
9.300+(100m/270°); Blickrichtung 255°; Basis ±35 cm. Das
Dach wurde vom gleichen Sturm abgedeckt, der auch die
Hängebrücke zerstörte.

Picture-pair 50: Former suspension bridge at Rani Ghat.
Locality: km W 9.500; view direction: 185 deg; stereo-
basis: +25 cm. This suspension bridge with about 20 m
high pillars was destructed about 1985 during a storm,
some people died when beeing on the bridge. It is to
suppose, that the storm made the bridge oscillate, and
it came to a {$}resonance catastrophe. It was a very modern
bridge, probably unique in the region. All parts for its
construction were transported by foot from Tansen to Rani
Ghat along the steep and narrow footpath (e.g. picture-
pair 38).

Picture-pair 52: Rani Ghat palace 2. Locality: km W
9.300+(100m/270deg); view direction: 255 deg; stereo-basis:
~35 cm. The roof of the palace was destroyed during the
same storm, which also destroyed the suspension bridge on
picture-pair 50.
