Das Wulffsche Netz ist winkeltreu, es spielt eine
wichtige Rolle in der Kristallographie zur Auswertung von
Gonjometer-Messungen, d.h. zur Kristall-Beschreibung.
Das gnomonische Netz hat die Eigenschaft, die Pole
aller zu einer Zone (im kristallographischen Sinn) ge-
hörenden Flächen auf einer Geraden abzubilden; es hat den
Nachteil, daß Punkte der oberen Halbkugel, speziell der
Zenit nicht dargestellt werden können weil sie sich bis
zur Unendlichkeit vom Zeichenpapier entfernen; es wird
verwendet beim Zeichnen von Kristallen.

The "Wulff'sches_Netz" is conformal, it plays an
important roll in the crystallography for the evaluation of
goniometer measurements, that means for crystal_descriptions.
The gnomonic_net has the feature to project the poles
of all planes which belong to the same zone (in the
crystallographic meaning) on one staight line. It has the
disadvantage, that points of the upper sphere, especially the
zenith, cannot be represented because they go away from the
drawing_paper until infinity. The gnomonic net is used for
drawing crystals perspecitvely.
